A meeting with voters of polling station No. 195 located at 15 Zhandosov Street (intersection with Zharokov Street) took place on 30 December 2011. In addition, a meeting with voters was held on 7 January 2012 at polling station No. 203 located at 205 Zharokov Street.

Women with disabilities are setting a precedent — your support is needed!

For the first time in the history of Kazakhstan women with disabilities decisively enter the race for election to a public representative body. Public Association “Association of Women with Disabilities “Shyrak” has nominated its Chairperson Lyazzat Kaltayeva as its candidate for an elected office. She is an Ak Zhol Party candidate for membership of Almaty Maslikhat for the 20^th electoral district of Bostandyk district of Almaty.

Public Association “Association of Women with Disabilities “Shyrak” distributes rehabilitation equipment

An annual charity event to distribute rehabilitation equipment among 50 women with disabilities (wheelchairs, canes, crutches, walking supports, bathtub and toilet stools, etc.) took place on 28 December 2011 at the National Library for the Blind and the Visually Impaired in Almaty. The event was made possible by the support of Intergas Central Asia JSC.
